Installation
MyStrands Social Player for Java devices application consists of two files: SocialPlayer.jad and SocialPlayer.jar
SocialPlayer.jad contains information about the Midlet itself (SocialPlayer.jar). Transfer both files to your mobile through bluetooth, Irda, or cable, and execute jad file.
Please take the following steps in order to remove the user prompts originating from your phone's runtime environment when using SocialPlayer in Series 40 devices:
- 1) Go to 'Menu'
- 2) Go to 'Apps'
- 3) Select 'SocialPlayer' from the list, and open the 'Options' menu
- 4) Select 'Application access'
- 5) Select 'Data access'
- 6) Select 'Read user data' and set to 'Always allowed'
- 7) Select 'Add and edit data' and set to 'Always allowed'
- 8) Go back to 5) screen, and select 'Network Access', and set to 'Always allowed'
These steps will allow SocialPlayer to perform the operations required to function and should make for a smooth user experience.
