Would it be possible to show an affinity value for not only members, but artists?
It would be nice to be able to search artist and track. For example, I was looking for the track After Hours by The Velvet Underground. This took a while because After Hours is a very common track title, and The Velvet Underground has very many albums. Is there an easier way to fiind specific tracks?
It seems that the recommendations now exclude artists that I already know. This is good in some cases; for example I own all tracks by U2 so I don't want to get any recommendations on U2 songs. But there are many other bands that I know, but I only have a few of their songs; I'd like to know about more songs from these bands.
You should look at my whole iTunes library and figure out which (complete) albums I own. And exclude only those.
There should also be a button on the "my recommendations" page (for each recommendation) that says: "I know about this artist/album/song, but I'm not interested. show my something else".

There are too many members here but most of them are not very "active"; they don't actually use MyStrands to publish their songs ... Every member should have an "activity" parameter (say a number next to their name) so that you can quickly see whether he's actually using this site or not.
